PIL Today
We are a privately held company incorporated in Singapore that operates a range of businesses spanning from shipping to container manufacturing and other logistics related services, with the core of our business in container shipping.

Pacific International Lines (PIL) was incorporated in 1967 in Singapore. From being a modest ship-owner in Singapore operating coastal ships, PIL has since developed into the largest carrier in Southeast Asia, with a focus on China, Asia, Africa, Middle East, South America and Oceania. PIL owns and operates a fleet of around 100 container and multi-purpose vessels, serving over 500 locations in more than 90 countries worldwide.

Apart from the core liner shipping business, PIL also has several other business units such as container manufacturing, real estate, depot and logistics services. One of PIL’s subsidiaries, Singamas Container Holdings Limited, is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and is one of the world's leading manufacturers of specialised containers.

Building on “Our Promise, Your Satisfaction”, PIL strives to forge strong and long lasting relationships with our customers through value adding, personalized services.
